Seminars:

During the 2011 national pageant, the delegates took part in several seminars designed to provide more environmental awareness, stage and interview preparation and hair and make-up design.  Experts in the fields of environmental advocacy, environmental entreprenar, interview and stage presence along with professional hair and make-up artist were invited to speak with the 60 national delegates.

Sara Starkoff-Green, creator of Give Green Gifts Give Bags, spoke to the delegates  on how to"Think Green, Live Green, Give Green". Sara provided education on challenging oneself to look beyond the fancy packaging and slogan to truly determine just how environmentally friendly the product or company truly is.

Miss Chel, from the Marine Science Educational Center provided information and insight into sea turtle nesting and how our environment impacts the nesting of turtle eggs.  Education was given on how volunteers find the nesting sites, secure them and monitor them.  She also spoke on how humans can negatively impact the success of the baby sea turtles.  A nest was located on the beach, in front of our host hotel, Plaza Resort and Spa. On behalf of the 2011 United States Earth Pageants, the nest was adopted.

Renowned Make-Up Artist - Noemi Melendez and her team provided each of the delegates with valuable hair and make-up tips to highlight their natural beauty and keeping with the image of the pageant.  During the seminar, Siria Bojorquez - Miss Teen Earth United States 2010 served as the model.
Pageant Coach Brittney Eskew of Eskew Consulting worked with all the delegates on stage presence, modeling techniques and interview tidbits.
